Conversations

conversations@notaharness

A Claude Code plugin that splits your main session into focused conversations. Meant to deal with the dreaded context switching in larger sessions by focusing your attention on a single topic at a time.

Getting started

  1. 1.Install the plugin from the notaharness marketplace.

    /plugin marketplace add notaharness/plugins
    /plugin install conversations@notaharness
  2. 2.Switch Claude Code to fullscreen, which Conversations needs.

    /tui fullscreen
  3. 3.Turn it on to open the sidebar. Claude starts conversations as topics come up.

    /conversations

One session, many conversations

In a busy Claude Code session, subagent results, background tasks, CI runs and messages from other sessions all land in one chat. Conversations gives each topic its own conversation, and keeps Main for talking to Claude.

Claude starts conversations

Claude starts a conversation for each topic, such as a CI run, a subagent's task or a message from another session, and posts its updates there.

The sidebar counts unread updates and marks the conversations that are waiting on you.

Read one topic at a time

Click a conversation, or press ctrl+x tab and its number, and the transcript shows only that topic. What you type there goes to that conversation.

Main stays yours

Main holds your conversation with Claude. Updates posted to other conversations show there as one-line pointers.
